We checked into the Hotel

We arrived at the Palomar Hotel and we are definitely in the big city. I am not driving this vehicle anymore until we leave. The traffic and roads are confusing. Well this hotel is just like what the website says...nice. I didn't realize it but there is some sort of animal theme going on here. Like a safari. The gentleman that met us at the door and got the crew to load our luggage and take it to our room had an accent like he was from Africa. The carpet in the hallways is tiger striped. Look at what I found in the closet for me to wear. Yes all week I am Jane of the Jungle :-) HaHa

We are in Washington, DC

We left Johnsonville around 10:15 and checked into the hotel after 8 tonight. We didn't just drive straight in because we had to eat. We also had to take a break and shop a little although we didn't buy anything except gas and a cup of coffee.
